Las Locas Comedy Presents is back at Lincoln Lodge with Delightfully Unbothered. Each month, a brand new lineup Chicago’s funniest women over 40 regale audiences as they demystify perimenopause, post-divorce dating, and all the other delightful horrors women born in the 1900s endure. Each show also features an “Honorary Biddy,” or a younger comic to keep us all on trend. When a woman turns a certain age, society tends to discard them, but our show is here to show that aging is a superpower that liberates women from giving any fcks. And there’s simply no one funnier than a woman with no fcks left to give. Come see for yourself!

Headliner: Christina Ferrara (The Den)

Christine Ferrera is a nationally touring stand-up comedian and storyteller. She is known for her dark, absurd, self-deprecating yet relatable humor. She has opened for acclaimed comics Michael Ian Black, River Butcher, and Emma Willmann, and performs regularly at clubs, crawl spaces and condemned malls around the Midwest. Ferrera’s book, Starbux Diary, about her decade-long correspondence with Starbucks Coffee was included in City Paper’s Top Ten Baltimore Books of 2015 and described as, "Hilariously personal." Her work has been presented on NPR’s The Story and The Signal, and she was a featured performer at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival as well as Wham City Comedy’s (Adult Swim) USA Tour. The Bad Oracle wrote of her stand-up, “Ferrera’s rigorous with her crafted style... but presents humor of greater nuance and bite.” She lives and works and eats and prays and loves in Chicago.
