La Memoria de los Sésiles, presented by Chile's Astillero Teatro, is a North American premiere that runs from October 31 to November 3 at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. The family-friendly production follows Sacha, an old hermit, and Tujo, a young environmentalist, as they embark on an underground journey filled with songs and games in their quest to restore a world where trees have vanished due to unchecked development. The play is written by Nicolás Cancino-Said and directed by Gabriel Contreras, aiming to engage audiences in environmental themes relevant to contemporary issues.
