Foundations in Intimacy Direction/Coordination is a training program at The Theatre School at DePaul University designed for those seeking to enhance their skills in intimacy direction and coordination in theatre and film. Running from August 19 to 22, the program offers a comprehensive curriculum that addresses topics such as mental health first aid, anti-harassment training, and effective communication. Participants will gain tools for creating safe and respectful environments on stage and set, led by Certified Movement Analyst Toranika Washington. This course serves as a prerequisite for the Intimacy Professionals for Theatre & Cinema certification.
