Alex in Windyland is a new play in development that delves into the experiences of youth within the foster care system. Created by artivist Abby Thompson in collaboration with Filament Theatre, the work draws from real-life research and workshops conducted with the youth, highlighting their voices and stories. This project aims to foster dialogue and reconciliation among birth, foster, and adoptive families by sharing important narratives through immersive storytelling. Filament Theatre is dedicated to amplifying young voices, ensuring they play a central role in the creative process.
