Ruth Page Center for the Arts hosts its semi-annual Adult Spring Open House commemorating International Day of Dance, Sunday, April 26 from 9 a.m. - 2:15 p.m., 1016 N. Dearborn St.
This event offers free dance classes, led by Ruth Page Center’s esteemed faculty, for those who wish to experience the rich variety of dance programming that is available at the Center. Participants should wear fitted clothes for dancing and movement. Tap shoes are highly recommended for Broadway Tap with Tracy. Also included during the April 26 Adult Open House, the day concludes with a professional development workshop for studio owners, dance instructors and arts administrators called Creating Healthy Dance Spaces, led by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Jennifer Warnick, at 2:30 p.m. The fee for Creating Healthy Dance Spaces is $35, with limited availability, and registration is available here.
A Class Card discount will also be available during the open house (buy one, get one 50% off). Individuals who wish to attend may register online at MindBodyOnline.com; walk-ups are also welcome. More Information on schedule and timings is available at RuthPage.org.
