Photo Flash: First Look at Civic Theatre of Allentown's NEXT TO NORMAL

Civic Theatre of Allentown will produce the Pulitzer-winning musical 'Next to Normal,' which will run from May 3 to May 19. Civic's Artistic Director William Sanders directs this 'brave, breathtaking' (The New York Times) rock musical written by Brian Yorkey and lyrics by Tom Kitt. Featuring an electrifying pop-rock score of more than 30 songs, 'Next to Normal' is an intense, tender, human scale musical that aims straight for the heart. Organist Paul Jacobs to Perform at the Winter Center, 5/10

Grammy Award-winning concert organist Paul Jacobs performs Camille Saint-Saens's Symphony No. 3 with the Millersville University Orchestra conducted by Dr. Vera Volchansky. This evening will conclude the celebration of the opening of the Winter Visual and Performing Arts Center, and is dedicated to celebrating the newly-installed Walker Organ.

Because it is an original adaptation which was written, for them, in 2001. This is the second time it is being performed anywhere in the world.
