In one of the most anticipated concerts of DCINY’s 2024 season, Christopher Tin graces the Carnegie Hall stage to conduct a thrilling performance of his greatest hits with a full orchestra and mega-choir of singers from around the world.
Greg Gilpin leads young voices in new arrangements, original pieces, and traditional folk songs opposite Tin.

Christopher Tin returns to Carnegie Hall exactly five years after making his debut in the legendary venue, conducting a program of his greatest hits with Distinguished Concerts International and a choir of international singers, featuring soloists Holly Sedillos, soprano, and Jimmer Bolden, tenor.

Tin presents pieces from his album The Lost Birds, nominated for a GRAMMY in 'Best Classical Compendium' at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards. "Waloyo Yamoni (We Overcome the Wind)" and "Iza Ngomso", included on Tin's second album, The Drop That Contained the Sea, were inspired by the unique natural elements found in water. Distinguished Concerts Orchestra and Choir conducted by Jonathan Griffith gave the world premiere of The Drop That Contained the Sea at Carnegie Hall in 2014. "Sogno di Volare" is a setting of modern-Italian adaptations of Leonardo da Vinci's writings on the flight, originally composed as the theme song to the video game Civilization VI. Tin will also present his most popular piece “Baba Yetu”, commissioned as the theme song for the video game Civilization IV.

Greg Gilpin leads over 100 young singers in the Carnegie Hall premieres of Gloria in Excelsis Deo!, and We Sing! We Rise! We Soar!  Also included in the repertoire are Hine Ma Tov, a Hebrew folk song, a traditional Torres Strait Island song, I'll Tell My Ma, an Irish folk song, and other works.
