The Saturday Comedy Cavalcade! (Family Fun Show)
Step right up for an afternoon of laughter, music, and old-fashioned showmanship at Bridge Street Theatre! As part of the 2026 Catskills Comedy Festival, “The Saturday Comedy Cavalcade!” brings together an all-star lineup of comedians, musicians, and singers for a family-friendly variety show packed with high-energy slapstick, hilarious antics, and live musical performances.
Hosted by Bridge Street Theatre's own Timothy Dunn, the show features musician and sound designer Carmen Borgia, Hudson Valley comedian and clown Jolly Joe Jester, and internationally acclaimed physical comedian Peter Daniel Straus, a former Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus clown. Singers Meeghan Darling and Stacey Dobos round out the lineup with live musical performances.
And the fun doesn't stop when the curtain falls! Immediately following the show, Peter Daniel Straus leads a FREE, hands-on, 30-minute physical comedy workshop, inviting kids and adults to take the stage and learn the tricks behind pratfalls, double-takes, and classic slapstick comedy.
Bright, breezy, and packed with laughter, “The Saturday Comedy Cavalcade!” is a delightful afternoon outing for kids, parents, and grandparents alike!

What is the history of Bridge Street Theatre ?
Our mission is to enhance the cultural life of Catskill and the surrounding areas by presenting, independently and in concert with other artists, unique theatrical productions and other similar events unlike those generally available to audiences at other theaters in the region. To bring to light works we feel have been unjustly neglected, returning them to the stage where they belong. To present, devise, and commission brand-new works for the stage. To forge a diverse community of like-minded artists to aid in the creation of our work. To continue to locate and bring to our patrons the finest in local, national, and international talent. And to keep our ticket prices affordable and our work readily accessible to the widest possible audience.
