Filling the second slot in Bridge Street Theatre’s March SoloFest, a festival of original one-person performances, is “Mother (and me)”, written and performed by Melinda Buckley and directed by Kimberly Senior. The story of a larger-than-life Hungarian Mama Rose who’s slowly waltzing into dementia, as her Broadway baby, Melinda shimmies into middle age. An outrageous one-woman show about stepping up and into your own light. “Mother (and me)” will play three performances only March 17-19 – Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm – at Bridge Street Theatre, 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY. Tickets, including four-show Festival Passes, can be purchased by visiting bridgest.org/mother-and-me-tickets/.

March 06, 2023Show Two in Bridge Street Theatre's 2023 SoloFest delivers both Broadway razzle-dazzle AND off-off-Broadway intimacy. “MOTHER (and me)”, written and performed by Melinda Buckley, arrives at BST, located at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, for three performances only – Friday and Saturday March 17 and 18 at 7:30pm and Sunday March 19 at 2:00pm.

August 23, 2022Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill has just launched into rehearsals for the first play in our 2022 Fall Mainstage Season. For the first time ever, the company has commissioned a playwright to create a totally new work to be presented on our “Priscilla” Mainstage. Based on actual events, Brad Fraser's hilarious and touching “Shelley's Shadow” is set to open for a two-weekend run on September 8.
