Fully Committed written by Becky Mode Phoenicia Playhouse is proud to present Fully Committed, a hilarious and exhilarating one actor play. SHOW SYNOPSIS: All Sam wants to do is get home for Christmas, but he has to work. He's a struggling actor, who takes reservations for one of NYC's hottest restaurants. He faces a constant stream of callers: socialites, celebrities, and desperate diners, all clamoring for a table. And then, of course, there's the dysfunctional restaurant staff and a chef who's a first class narcissist. We get to meet them all, and they are all played by the same actor with sharp wit and impeccable timing. Starring: Jake Shipley Directed by Michael Koegel DATES: Friday Dec 5th - 7:00pm (Doors @ 6:30pm) Saturday Dec 6th - 2:00pm (Doors @ 1:30pm) Saturday Dec 6th - 7:00pm (Doors @ 6:30pm) Sunday Dec 7th - 2:00pm (Doors @ 1:30pm) ————————————————————————— Friday Dec 12th - 7:00pm (Doors @ 6:30pm) Saturday Dec 13th - 2:00pm (Doors @ 1:30pm) Saturday Dec 13th - 7:00pm (Doors @ 6:30pm) Sunday Dec 14th - 2:00pm (Doors @ 1:30pm) Tickets will be available for general admission at $20, with discounts for seniors, students, and veterans at $18. Jake Shipley (Sam) is a New York City native, who has been developing this one man show since the spring. His most recent work includes Barefoot In The Park (Paul), Little Mermaid the Musical (Prince Eric), and True West (Director). Jake is currently working as the Associate Creative Director for the Maude Adams Theater Hub in Hunter, NY. Jake has previously worked at restaurants not disimilar to the one depicted in Fully Committed, so the idea of revisiting that part of his life was...exciting? Traumatic? No, we'll go with 'exciting'. He is incredibly proud of the work he has done, and he's so pleased in your joining us. Enjoy the show!
Phoenicia Playhouse is at 10 Church Street, Phoenicia, NY.
