The Cooperstown Summer Music Festival finale on Sunday, August 24 at 7:30 pm offers dance-infused chamber music by Bartok, Brown, Byrd, Schubert, Strauss, and del Aguila. Performers are the Momenta Quartet; Linda Chesis, flute; Moran Katz, clarinet; Olga Vinokur, piano. The concert will be held in the ballroom of the Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown.

The STS Playhouse and Woodstock Fringe present two programs of staged readings of new short plays written by members of the Woodstock Fringe Playwrights Unit. Each of two programs of short plays will be presented twice at the STS Playhouse in Phoenicia, NY. Program 1 will be presented tonight, Aug 16 at 8pm and Sun Aug 17 at 2pm. Program 2 will be presented Sat Aug 23 at 8pm and Sun Aug 24 at 2pm.

Artistic Director Davis McCallum recently announced the appointment of a new Associate Artistic Director/Director of Education, Sean McNall. In addition McCallum also announced a number of special performances planned for the fall.
