Geva to Stage Key Bank's A CHRISTMAS CAROL

?On November 25, a beloved Rochester tradition returns to Geva Theatre Center on the Wilson Stage. The Key Bank Production of A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season.  This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience. 
FitzandStartz Productions' Musical Adventure WINTER TALES Comes to Kitchen Theatre Today

FitzandStartz Productions launches its inaugural season in November 2016 with an original musical for all ages: WINTER TALES, with book & lyrics by Rachel Lampert and music by Lesley Greene, the founders of the new company. WINTER TALES runs for four performances only: today, November 14 at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, and Today, November 21 at 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. All performances will be held at Kitchen Theatre Company.

Roundabout Theatre Company have announced that Corcoran High School in Syracuse, NY will present the regional premiere of PROSPECT HIGH: BROOKLYN. Written by Daniel Robert Sullivan and a team of New York City teenagers, PROSPECT HIGH: BROOKLYN was developed in partnership with Education at Roundabout and the Fox Foundation Resident Actor Fellowships. The play will have its world premiere in 22 high school productions across the country through May 2016. Corcoran will present the play on November 13th and 14th at 7:00 PM in their auditorium at 919 Glenwood Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207. The Corcoran production will be helmed by teacher and director, Greg J. Syracuse Stage has been selected to receive the "Mattie Letham Community Leadership Excellence Award" from Aurora of Central New York for excellence in accessibility programing. This award is given to organizations who make outstanding contributions toward promoting independence and opportunity for people with sensory loss.  The award will be given at Aurora's annual meeting on Thursday, November 12, 2015.

Winter Tales features book & lyrics by Rachel Lampert and music by Lesley Greene, the founders of the new company. Master storyteller Jonathan Kruk will offer dramatic performances of Dickens's 'Christmas Carol' on December weekends at the historic Christ Episcopal Church in Tarrytown, where Washington Irving served as a vestryman.   Complete with musical accompaniment, Kruk brings to life the classic Charles Dickens story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Performances take place on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20, at 3:30, 4:45, and 6pm (Dec. 20 at 6 and 7:15 only).
