EastWest Artistry NYC will present “Midsummer Cultural Salon – East Meets West” on Wednesday, June 4, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. at Nancy Manocherian’s the cell theatre in New York City.
The approximately 50-minute program brings together an international lineup of performers in a cross-cultural salon setting, designed to draw audiences beyond the traditional classical music world.
Soprano Lena Wu will open the evening with Mozart’s “Come scoglio” and close with a crossover performance of “Summertime.” The program also features mezzo-soprano Tomoko Nago performing Six Songs for Children by Yoshinao Nakada, musical theatre selections from Howie Reith, and original works by singer-songwriter Maya Shaw.
Pianist Jonida Lazellari, a Carnegie Hall and DiMenna Center alumna, serves as collaborative pianist. A visual art display with artists present will accompany the musical program.
