The New York Youth Symphony is an incredible ensemble comprised of 115 student musicians aged between 12 and 22 years old. The New York Youth Symphony is giving back to the community, that loves and supports all of the ensemble's endeavors, by hosting a rare free concert opportunity. With Joshua Gersen conducting, the orchestra will perform Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel’s “Merry Pranks” and Ravel’s enchanting Mother Goose Suite. Renowned cellist Gabriel Cabezas will join the orchestra for the world premiere of Gabriella Smith’s Lost Coast, and Gershwin’s An American in Paris will complete the program.
