In the coming weeks, 54 Below revisits some of our favorite Broadway productions with concert events celebrating beloved scores as well as reunions bringing together original company members.

54 SINGS CHESS, Sun. Feb. 15 at 7PM & 9:30PM.It's more than a game. It's a way of life. 54 Sings invites you to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Chess, one of musical theatre's most-loved scores and the source of fascinating history and debate. A cast of Broadway and cabaret's top vocalists backed by the Broadway by the Year chorus pay tribute to "Nobody's Side", "One Night in Bangkok," "Pity the Child," "I Know Him So Well," and more in this celebration of one of Broadway's most popular cult musicals of all time. Produced and Directed by Scott Coulter. ALTAR BOYZ 10TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION CONCERT, Sun. March 1 at 9:30PM & 11:30PM.The ALTAR BOYZ are back! March 1, 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of ALTAR BOYZ opening off-Broadway and to celebrate we're bring back a multitude of boys to perform their hit songs. Starring dozens of ALTAR BOYZ alumni, including original cast members, as well as special appearances by creators Gary Adler, Kevin Del Aguila, and Michael Patrick Walker. Join us for this one night only event to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the smash hit ALTAR BOYZ. Music directed by Jason Loffredo and Produced by Shoshana Feinstein. THE LAST SHIP COMPANY IN CONCERT, Mon. March 2 at 9:30PM.The original cast and band of Sting's musical The Last Ship reunite to celebrate their run with an eclectic evening themed around seafaring songs. Proceeds will go to support Wallsend Boys Club in the north of England, which was founded by shipbuilders. With performances by: Eric Anderson, Ethan Applegate, Fred Applegate, Dawn Cantwell, Jeremy Davis, Bradley Dean, Alyssa DiPalma, Michael Esper, Colby Foytik, David Michael Garry, Timothy Gulan, Shawna M. Hamic, Rich Hebert, Todd A. Horman, Sarah Hunt, Sean Jenness, Collin Kelly-Sordelet, Drew McVety, Johnny Newcomb, Matthew Stocke, Cullen R. Titmas, Sally Ann Triplett and Jeremy Woodard. THIS WILL BE OUR YEAR, Tues. March 3 at 7PM & 9:30PM. In a one-night-only concert engagement, Jeremy Jordan, Krysta Rodriguez and Andy Mientus look back at their time on "Smash"and sing the songs that inspired the creation of their characters, as well as trunk songs from the "Bishop & Collins" songbook. Audiences can expect to hear songs featured in the second season of "Smash," as well as contemporary classics from the musical theater canon and some of the pop/rock tunes featured on the show. In season two of "Smash," Jordan, Mientus, and Rodriguez played burgeoning musical theater writers "Jimmy Collins," "Kyle Bishop," and an ambitious actress "Ana Vargas," respectively. The three actors have since starred in Hit List, the meta-musical from the second season of Smash at 54 Below last winter, and have continued to excel both on stage and screen while remaining the closest of friends. The evening reunites the trio with director Joshua Safran, who was the showrunner of season two of Smash, and music director Benjamin Rauhala, who collaborated with the team on Hit List. The evening was concieved by Rauhala and Safran, and is produced by Rauhala. $65-75 cover charge. $115 premium seating. $25 food and beverage minimum.

54 SINGS MACK & MABEL, Sun. March 8 at 7PM & 9:30PM.Look What Happened to Mabel! Jerry Herman's beloved score explodes onto the stage of 54 Below in this one night only musical extravaganza. Tap Your Troubles Away when some of Broadway and cabaret's finest regale you with tunes including I Won't Send Roses, Movies Were Movies, Wherever He Ain't and of course, Time Heals Everything. Part of our 54 Sings series, we bring you scores galore as we salute the tunes of some of our all time favorite musicals. We Promise You a Happy Ending! Starring: Brent Barrett, Carole J. THE CAST OF SIDE SHOW: ADDED ATTRACTIONS, Mon. March 9 at 7PM & 9:30PM. The cast of the recent Broadway revival of Side Show reunites to celebrate this acclaimed production. Erin Davie, Emily Padgett, Ryan Silverman, Matthew Hydzik, David St. Louis, and members of the ensemble perform favorites from the show, a couple songs which were cut out of town, and material which won't be heard on the Original Cast Recording. Hosted by Bill Russell, author of the book and lyrics, the evening will also feature composer Henry Krieger. $50-60 cover charge. $110 premium seating. $25 food and beverage minimum.

A SOPHISTICATED LADIES REUNION, Fri. March 13 at 9:30PM.It's a Sophisticated Reunion 34 years in the making! Sophisticated Ladies opened on Broadway, in March of 1981, so join the fun at 54 Below when original cast members and co-stars Valarie Pettiford, Terri Klausner, and Ty Stephens reunite. This terrific trio met doing the show, and have remained best buddies for over three decades. You'll thrill to some of The Duke's greatest hits, and these talented entertainers will also bring elements of their individual acts to the evening. You will take the A Train on a thrill ride that will make you hollerHit Me With A Hot Note and I Love You Madly to these award-winning performers, under the brilliant musical direction of Ron Abel. $30-40 cover charge. $65 premium seating. $20 food and beverage minimum or two drinks.

54 SINGS A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, Sun. March 15 at 7PM & 9:30PM. Tony Award-winning writing team Lynn Ahrens & Stephen Flaherty and Tony Award winner Terrence McNally's musical A Man Of No Importance comes to 54 Below for an all-star concert presentation. The show played off-Broadway at Lincoln Center in 2002 and has become a beloved piece done by theaters all over the world. The score of A Man Of No Importance, including songs such as "Princess," "The Streets of Dublin," and "Love Who You Love," has gained popularity over the years and is treasured by musical theatre fans. Come hear the gorgeous songs by Ahrens and Flaherty that tell the story of an amateur theater group in Dublin. They are determined to stage a version of Oscar Wilde's Salome at their church despite the objections of church authorities. Their leader, bus driver Alfie Byrne, must also comes to terms with his sexuality when confronted with the possibility of love. The concert version of A Man Of No Importance will feature an all-star cast singing this glorious score from this beautiful show, winner of The Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. 54 SINGS CHILDREN OF EDEN, Tues. March 24 at 7PM & 9:30PM. Children of Eden is one of the world's most performed musicals despite its never having been on Broadway. The story and score are among the most beloved of all time. 54 Below invites to you experience the glory of this incredible musical in a presentation produced and directed by Scott Coulter that features composer Stephen Schwartz and members of the original cast, including Kelli Rabke and Darius de Haas, performing songs including "Stranger to the Rain," "Spark of Creation," "Lost in the Wilderness," "In Whatever Time We Have," and more. THE BUBBLY BLACK GIRL SHEDS HER CHAMELEON SKIN REUION CONCERT, Mon. March 30 at 7PM.For one night only, the original cast of Kirsten Childs' The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin will reunite to present this singular show in concert and to share special stories about their time working on the show. Originally presented in the National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 1998 Festival of New Musicals, the show had its world premiere at Playwrights Horizons in May 2000. The production garnered much critical praise, several Drama Desk nominations, Lucille Lortel nominations and an Obie Award for Best Music & Lyrics; and won Childs' the Kleban, the Richard Rodgers, the Gilman/Gonzalez-Falla award and The Jonathan Larson grant. The concert will be directed by original cast member Jerry Dixon. AFTER MIDNIGHT REUNION CONCERT, Fri. April 3 at 9:30PM. "RISE & SHINE!" Join us at 54 Below for an After Midnight reunion featuring the After Midnight Orchestra and cast members from the 2014 Tony nominated Broadway Musical. Featuring performances from Everett Bradley, Carmen Ruby Floyd, Bahiyah Hibah, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Phillip Attmore, Marija Abney, Allysa Shorte, Monique Smith, Bryonha Marie Parham, Erin Moore, Jay Staten, Taeler Cyrus and many special guests. Expect an evening of jazz standards infused with a modern R&B twist, including the songs and sounds of Harold Arlen, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Stevie Wonder, John Legend and more. 54 SINGS THE LIFE, Sun. May 17 at 7PM & 9:30PM.In 1997, the beloved Broadway musical The Life transported us back to a pre-Disney Times Square-a much grittier time in NYC where hookers, hustlers, and even young dreamers battled it out in a game of survivor. For one night only, The Life returns to the "Great White Way" featuring members of the Tony-nominated original cast. Hear the fantastic Cy Coleman- Ira Gasman score, including the songs "The Oldest Profession", "My Body", "People Magazine", "My Friend", and more. Be sure to "check it out!"
