The American Songbook Association (ASA) has announced its first Annual Gala, The Joint Is Jumpin'!, a joyous celebration of contributions to the American Songbook by Black songwriters and notable singers. The ASA will also present its first annual Lifetime Achievement Award to singer Marilyn Maye. The award will be presented to Maye by her longtime friend, fashion designer, Bob Mackie. The event takes place at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 W. 42nd Street, New York City, on September 17, 2018 at 7:30 PM. Rachel Ulanet (Lovemusik, Beauty and the Beast) made a triumphant return to solo cabaret with 'Keep Me Searching,' her May 29th sold out performance at Feinstein's/54 Below! A marvelous time was had by all, friends, fans, colleagues, and Broadway luminaries. 

On Stage at Kingsborough, a leading performing arts presenter located at Brooklyn's Kingsborough Community College presents its 2017-2018 season, featuring world class artists from around the globe. On Stage at Kingsborough brings top notch performing arts to Southern Brooklyn with an eclectic roster of artists spanning multiple genres including cabaret, dance, music, and family programming. The full season runs through May 19, 2018.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present 'A Sophisticated Reunion' on Monday, May 23. The one-night-only event starred Terri Klausner, Valarie Pettiford and Ty Stephens, who met in Sophisticated Ladies, a Broadway musical review based on the music of Duke Ellington, which opened in March of 1981.

On Thursday, June 26, 2014, Westchester Magazine unveiled their annual Best of Westchester issue announcing the very best of what Westchester County has to offer. Clocktower Players, the resident theater company of Irvington Town Hall Theater, received two prestigious awards: Best Local Theater Group and Best Children's Theater.
