Video: Light Up This 4/20 with Season 2 of IFC's BROCKMIRE

This year, celebrate 4/20 with the party king himself: Jim Brockmire. IFC announced today that the Season 2 premiere of its original comedy series Brockmire, produced by Funny or Die and starring Hank Azaria, is now available to watch commercial-free on IFC's VOD, digital, social and mobile platforms ahead of its linear premiere. Funny Or Die will also make the episode available to watch on their website and Facebook page. Season 2 premieres on IFC Wednesday, April 25 at 10PM, with eight episodes airing weekly.

Brockmire's Season 2 premiere, "The Getaway Game," is available to watch on the following platforms: On Demand; IFC.com and IFC's mobile apps; Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Xbox apps; IFC's Facebook and Youtube page; FunnyOrDie.com and Funny Or Die's Facebook page. The premiere is available to watch until April 25; all episodes of the series will be available to watch online, On Demand (VOD) and via IFC's mobile apps after their linear airings.

Debuting to critical praise in 2017, BROCKMIRE follows Jim BROCKMIRE (Azaria), a famed major league baseball announcer who suffered a notorious public breakdown after stumbling upon his wife's infidelity - a breakdown so bad that "Brutal Brockmire" became a viral internet meme. Season 1 began a decade later, as BROCKMIRE looked to reclaim his career, reputation, and love life. He eventually found happiness calling games for the Morristown Frackers, the underdog minor league baseball team, alongside his girlfriend Jules (Amanda Peet).

Now one year later, Season 2 kicks off with BROCKMIRE chasing an opportunity to call games in New Orleans. He enjoys new found success as a top podcaster with his show "Brock Bottom," while living with his co-dependent friend Charles (Tyrel Jackson Williams) and partying harder than ever. Still trying to still reclaim his career as a major league sportscaster, BROCKMIRE cannot resist the temptations of the Big Easy, while pining for the girl he left behind in Morristown, PA and struggling to find his purpose in life.

Brockmire originally appeared as a viral short video on the award-winning comedy website Funny Or Die. All episodes of Season 2 are directed by Mo Marable and the series is executive produced by Azaria, Joel Church-Cooper, Marable, Tim Kirkby and Funny Or Die's Mike Farah and Joe Farrell. BROCKMIRE will return for two more seasons, as IFC recently announced, slated to air in 2019 and 2020, respectively.
