On today's LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL, former Giants star and Hall of Famer Michael Strahan bid farewell to fans on his last appearance as co-host of the show. He will be heading to "Good Morning America" full-time in September.

Joked Ripa at the top of the show, "Don't take this as a bad sign: it's Friday the 13th. But you said 13 is a lucky number." She went on to say, "It is your final day on the show. We all came to celebrate you. We want to remind you that there's a run on discounted merchandise at the kiosk."

Strahan added, "It's bittersweet. Of course you get nervous. This is a moment I didn't anticipate being here, at least not at this point. I'm not dying. I'm still in THE FAMILY and still available to come back as co-host." A new co-host for the long-running morning show has not yet been selected.
