Actress Leah Remini speaks exclusively to ABC News Anchor Dan Harris about her experience with and ultimate break from the Church of Scientology. Remini talks about her association with the Church for over 30 years as recounted in her memoir Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. Check out the interview below!

"20/20" aired FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC.

In a first-look promo of the "20/20" interview, Remini revealed how Tom Cruise was one of the factors that led her to break from the Church of Scientology. "Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of Scientology itself... you are evil," Remini told Harris.

"As time goes on, you start to lose touch with the real world. The mindset becomes 'Us against them,'" said Remini. "The decision to leave is you are giving up everything you have ever known and everything you have worked for your whole life. I feel that people need to understand this has been my whole life. I want them to understand how it happens," she told Harris.

Remini's book describes joining the Church with her family as a teenager, building her career in Hollywood while remaining a conscientious Scientologist, severing her ties with the Church in 2013, and her life since leaving Scientology.

Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology will be released on November 3, 2015 by Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and David Muir. David Sloan is senior executive producer.
