Telemundo & NBC Universo's Coverage of Pachuca-Leon Match Reaches 3.2 Million Total Viewers

Telemundo and NBC UNIVERSO's "Fútbol Estelar" simulcast of the anxiously awaited semifinal soccer match between Pachuca and León reached a cumulative audience of 3.2 million viewers, including 1.9 million adults 18-49 on Sunday, May 22 at 9PM ET, according to Nielsen. As the audience gathered to watch Pachuca classify to the Liga MX Final, the broadcast averaged 1.4 million total viewers and 831,000 adults 18-49. Called by internationally acclaimed sportscaster, Andres Cantor alongside Carlos Hermosillo providing analysis and commentary, the match set the ground for the widely expected Liga MX Torneo Clausura 2016 Final between Pachuca and Monterrey slated for this Thursday, May 26 on NBC UNIVERSO at 9PM ET/8PM CT/6PM PT.
