Telemundo Deportes Unveils Art Mural in Celebration of FIFA WORLD CUP Final Draw

Telemundo Deportes, the Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™, unveiled an original mural in celebration of the Final Draw in the heart of Miami's iconic Wynwood Art District located at 2294 NW 2ndAve. The artwork was created by renowned Miami-based muralist and sculptor David Le Batard, better known as "Lebo," to create a unique representation of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. The mural depicts all 32 countries competing in the FIFA World Cup Russia™ with a special focus on the Latin American countries participating in the tournament.
The mural was unveiled today, Friday, Dec. 1, during the live broadcast of the much-anticipated Draw that defined the groups for FIFA World Cup™, and will be on display through Art Basel, annual international art fair taking place in Miami, and the Wynwood NYE Block Party. "The Final Draw determines the fate and fortune of the competing nations in the biggest sporting event in the world," said Bill Bergofin, Senior Vice President of Brand and Content, Telemundo Deportes. "The results of the Draw will be the topic of conversation, and we are excited to engage with our audience in a fun way - on-air, online and on the streets." Telemundo Deportes showcased the creation of the mural and the final artwork both on air and across online platforms as each Latin American country was drawn, generating excitement around the teams and their star players.
