TONIGHT SHOW Encores Top LATE SHOW Originals In 18-49 For Late Night Ratings For June 4-8

Encore telecasts of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" have outrated originals of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in adults 18-49 for the late-night ratings week of June 4-8, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research. Note that "Tonight" was delayed by Stanley Cup hockey overruns on Monday and Thursday.

For the week, "Tonight's" rebroadcasts averaged a 0.46 rating in 18-49 versus a 0.38 for Colbert. ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," boosted by high-rated NBA FINALS overruns on Wednesday and Friday, averaged a 0.61.

"Tonight" encores also topped "Late Show" first-runs for the week in all other key demographics - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54.

Last week at 12:35 a.m. ET, encores of "Late Night with Seth Meyers" ranked #1 versus CBS' week of four originals and one encore for "The Late Late Show with James Corden," with an average 0.28 rating for the "Late Night" rebroadcasts versus a 0.23 for the week of mostly original "Late Late Shows."
