TONIGHT & LATE NIGHT Up with Adults 18-49

NBC's late-night lineup has generated dominant wins for the week of May 13-17 versus the broadcast competition, as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" have delivered bigger audiences than their respective ABC and CBS time-period rivals in every key ratings category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, as well as total viewers.

Jay attracted his biggest 18-49 audience since December and Jimmy hit a high since New Year's Week, while in total viewers, "Tonight" was at a 15-week high and "Late Night" scored a six-week high.

Jay and Jimmy generated gains versus the same week last year, with Jay up 14 percent in viewers 18-49 and 5 percent in total viewers, while Jimmy was up 8 percent in both viewers 18-49 and total viewers.

Jay and Jimmy are also delivering growth seven weeks into the second quarter of 2013, with Jay up versus one year ago by 5 percent in viewers 18-49 (with 1.063 million vs. 1.016 million) and up 7 percent in viewers 18-34 (337,000 vs. 314,000), while Jimmy is up for the second quarter by 7 percent in viewers 18-49 (701,000 vs. 656,000), 17 percent in viewers 18-34 (288,000 vs. 247,000) and 7 percent in total viewers (1.759 million vs. 1.642 million).

At 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" grabbed its biggest 18-49 audience (399,000) since the week of November 19-23, 2012 and biggest overall audience (994,000) since the week of October 29-November 2, 2012).

For the week of May 13-17, Jay delivered his biggest 18-49 audience in 21 weeks (1.123 million, best since 1.264 million for the week of December 17-21, 2012) and biggest overall audience in 15 weeks (3.618 million, best since 3.745 million January 28-February 1). It was Jimmy's top 18-49 audience in 19 weeks (696,000, best since 724,000 for December 31, 2012-Jauary 4, 2013) and biggest overall audience in six weeks (1.784 million, best since 1.797 million for April 1-5). Versus the same week last year, Jay's 1.123 million adults 18-49 was up from 986,000 and his 3.618 million viewers overall was up from 3.438 million. Jimmy's 696,000 adults 18-49 for the week was up from 643,000 and his 1.784 million viewers overall was up from 1.648 million.

Jay has now delivered bigger 18-49 audiences than "Late Show" for the last 26 weeks in a row and topped "Kimmel" for 17 of their 19 head-to-head weeks. In total viewers, Jay has out-delivered "Late Show" for 30 weeks in a row and "Kimmel" for 19 of 19 weeks.

Jimmy Fallon has now generated bigger 18-49 audiences than "Late Late Show" for 31 of the last 32 weeks and prevailed in total viewers for 28 of the last 30 weeks. Versus "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour, Jimmy has out-delivered the ABC series for 19 weeks in a row in viewers 18-49 and 14 of the last 16 weeks in total viewers.
