SHOWTIME will debut the epic story of the pop culture phenomenon Daft Punk in the documentary DAFT PUNK UNCHAINED tonight, December 10 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-written with Marina Rozenman, the documentary takes us to the heart of Daft Punk's world, which the masked duo has kept secret for the past twenty years. With archives of radio interviews, rare behind-the-scenes footage, and exclusive one-on-one conversations with their friends and closest collaborators, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Giorgio Moroder and Oscar® winner Michel Gondry, the documentary presents a unique, unprecedented profile of Daft Punk's covert career.

DAFT PUNK UNCHAINED chronicles key moments in the career of the six-time Grammy award-wining group formed by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. From their first school band in Paris to their historic concert at Coachella in 2006 to their spectacular triumph at the 2014 GRAMMY AWARDS where they won Album of The Year, the film offers a glimpse into the secretive pair's journey to the top. The documentary is produced by BBC Worldwide France, distributed by BBC Worldwide NORTH AMERICA and executive produced by Jean-Louis Blot.

SHOWTIME is available to subscribers via cable, DBS and telco providers, and as a stand-alone streaming service through Apple®, Roku®, Amazon and Google. Consumers can also subscribe to Showtime via Hulu and Sony PlayStation® Vue.
