NBC Sports Group will present more than 200 hours of Olympic winter sports coverage this weekend across NBC, NBCSN, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, OlympicChannel.com, and the Olympic Channel app, highlighted by U.S. Ski & Snowboard Toyota U.S. Grand Prix coverage from COPPER Mountain, Colo.

U.S. GRAND PRIX FREESTYLE SKIING AND SNOWBOARDING

This weekend's U.S. Grand Prix in COPPER Mountain, Colo., serves as a U.S. Olympic team qualifying event for several SNOWBOARDING and freestyle skiing events. Two-time Olympic gold medalist Shaun White and 17-year-old phenom Chloe Kim are expected to headline the SNOWBOARDING halfpipe field this Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.

Jamie Anderson, 2017 X GAMES slopestyle winner Julia Marino and 2017 X GAMES big air winner Hailey Langland should lead the way in big air, while David Wise and 2014 Olympic halfpipe gold medalist Maddie Bowman are expected to represent the U.S. in freestyle skiing.

NBC will present freestyle skiing halfpipe coverage on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, followed by SNOWBOARDING big air at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

FIS ALPINE SKIING WORLD CUP

Olympic gold medalists Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin are both expected to compete for the U.S. as women's alpine skiing returns to St. Moritz, Switzerland, for the first combined race of the season, in addition to two super-G events. Shiffrin picked up her first World Cup downhill win this past weekend in Lake Louise, while Vonn crashed in two of her three races and will look to rebound in St. Moritz.

On the men's side, Ted Ligety will likely lead the American men in giant slalom at this weekend's FIS World Cup event in Val d'Isere, France, where giant slalom and slalom will be contested. Six-time overall World Cup champion Marcel Hirscher, who won the giant slalom in Beaver Creek on Sunday, is expected to headline the international field.

Steve Porino (play-by-play) and two-time Olympian Doug Lewis (analyst) will call both FIS World Cup events on Friday and Saturday, while Porino (analyst) and Steve Schlanger will call Sunday's races.

ISU WORLD CUP SPEED SKATING
COVERAGE BEGINS TOMORROW AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The World Cup speed skating season continues in Salt Lake City. This will be the final event for determining Olympic country quota places. Coverage begins tomorrow on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET. Live coverage from Salt Lake City shifts to Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Heather Bergsma, Brittany Bowe and 2017 mass start world champion Joey Mantia are expected to lead the Americans.

Bill Doleman calls the event alongside three-time Olympic medalist Joey Cheek.

IBSF BOBSLED & SKELETON WORLD CUP

2014 Olympic bobsled bronze medalist Jamie Greubel Poser and Meyers Taylor - who are second and third, respectively, in the World Cup standings - lead the American women in bobsled. The U.S. men's bobsled team is led by two-time Olympian Nick Cunningham, 2010 Olympic gold medalist Justin Olsenand Codie Bascue - who has three podium finishes this season - while the American skeleton team features 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Matt Antoine and three-time Olympian Katie Uhlaender.

Country quota places for the PyeongChang Games will be determined by this season's World Cup results, and selection to the U.S. Olympic team will be heavily influenced by the results on this circuit.

The biathlon World Cup season continues from Hochfilzen, Austria, tomorrow as Lowell Bailey, who was the first American to qualify for the 2018 Olympic team and win a biathlon world championship, and Susan Dunklee, the first American woman to qualify for the PyeongChang Games and the first American woman to win an individual medal at a world championships, are expected to compete.
