SAG Awards Holiday Auction Begins Today

The SAG Awards® Holiday Auction benefiting the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's Children's Literacy and Assistance programs begins online today at 6 p.m. (PST) at sagawards.org/auction. The SAG Awards® Holiday Auction features a VIP package to attend the SAG Awards® ceremony and gala on Saturday, January 25, 2015 and offers autographed film and television collectibles from Carol Burnett, Rita Moreno, Amy Poehler, Carl Reiner, and Emma Thompson as well as the casts of "Game of Thrones," "How to Get Away with Murder," "Sons of Anarchy," "True Blood," "The Walking Dead" and more. Also up for bid are unique gifts such as a Round of Golf for 4 at the Trump National Golf Club with a $1,000 Pro-shop gift certificate, a one week stay at a Timbers Resorts Escape Private Residence Club and a "Hollyscoop" Red Carpet Makeover. Bidding begins online today, December 4, 2014 at 6 p.m. (PT) and concludes on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 6 p.m. (PT) at sagawards.org/auction.

All Holiday Auction items will be featured in a display for invited media and publicists at the SAG Awards Nominations Announcement. Nominations will be announcedWednesday, Dec. 10, from the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood by Ansel Elgort, star of the feature films "The Fault in Our Stars" and "Divergent" and actress/director/producer and SAG Award recipient Eva Longoria. The nominations announcement will be carried live at 9 a.m. (ET)/ 6 a.m. (PT) on TNT and TBS, as well as online at sagawards.tntdrama.com. Nominations for the Stunt Ensemble Honors will be announced on sagawards.tntdrama.com at 8:50 a.m. (ET) / 5:50 a.m. (PT).

Proceeds from the SAG Awards® Holiday Auction support the SAG Foundation's award-winning children's literacy programs: BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), reading to over 60,000 children monthly in classrooms and hospitals nationwide, and Storyline Online, the interactive literacy website that attracts over 4 million global views each month. The auction also supports the SAG Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund, Emergency Assistance and scholarships for performers and their families.
