Ruby Modine Joins Horror Flick HALF TO DEATH

The horror movie "Half to Death" has announced a number of new cast members. Ruby Modine, Charles Aitken and Rachel Matthews have all been announced to joined Jessica Rothe and Israel Broussard in the cast of the horror film, produced by Blumhouse Productions.

Modine is currently co-starring on the seventh season of the Showtime series "Shameless." She has also just finished work on "Central Park" an indie horror film. Earlier this year, she starred in and recorded music for the Tribeca Film Festival short film "Super Sex".

Directing "Half to Death" is Christopher Landon, who co-wrote the film with Scott Lobdell. Angela Mancuso and John Baldecchi will be executive producing.

Rothe will star as a woman who must solve the mystery of her own murder before her chances run out.
