Passion Pit Set for LIVE ON LETTERMAN Webcast, 9/4

CBS Interactive's award-winning webcast concert series, LIVE ON LETTERMAN, presented by AT&T, will feature indie-pop act Passion Pit performing live from the world-famous Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City and webcast on CBS.com and VEVO, Wednesday, Sept. 4 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).

Passion Pit's LIVE ON LETTERMAN performance will feature songs off of their most recent album, 2012's critically-acclaimed Gossamer, including singles "Take a Walk" and "Carried Away," as well as hits from their previous albums, Manners and Chunk of Change. Also, fans will also have the opportunity to influence the band's set list by voting on their choice for the last song of the performance on CBS.com.

The LIVE ON LETTERMAN franchise, which has surpassed 185 million views to date on CBS.com and VEVO, has hosted some of the most established bands and musicians across the globe, staged in an intimate and dynamic setting for worldwide followers to enjoy. LIVE ON LETTERMAN webcasts have included some of music's biggest stars, including Coldplay, Alicia Keys, The Killers, John Mayer, Mumford & Sons and Adele.

Passion Pit is the dynamic musical mission of Michael Angelakos, the electronic wunderkind best known for his complex and multi-layered pop songs. Angelakos, who debuted with his notoriously charming Chunk Of Change EP in 2008, released Passion Pit's debut full-length album, Manners, in 2009. Passion Pit's sophomore release, Gossamer, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard charts, has taken the band on a whirlwind ride over the last year.
