NBC's AMERICA'S GOT TALENT Wins 2-Hour Time Period

"America's Got Talent" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 8.9 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) won its two-hour time period among the Big 4 in every key demo - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. "Talent" led the time period among the Big 4 by a +38% margin in adults 18-49 (with a 1.8 rating vs. a 1.3 for #2 CBS) and by a +63% advantage in adults 18-34 (1.3 vs. 0.8 for CBS).
"America's Got Talent" ranked as the #1 show of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, as well as adults 25-54, adults 18-34 and other key demos. "Food Fighters" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched a four-week high in 18-49 rating (best since a 1.2 on Aug. 5) and was even with last week's 1.1 rating. In the time period, "Food Fighters" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, tied for #1 among the Big 4 in adults 18-34 and ranked #1 outright among those nets in women 18-34.In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
For the Week: NBC has won the PRIMETIME week of Aug. 25-31 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and virtually all other key measures, led by "The 66th PRIMETIME Emmy® Awards," which ranked #1 among the week's PRIMETIME telecasts on the Big 4 networks in every key ratings category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
