NBC & Litton Entertainment Announce Return of 'The More You Know' Family Programming

NBC and Litton Entertainment, the preeminent independent producer of award-winning family programming, today announced the return of The More You Know, NBC's Saturday family programming block with new seasons of The Voyager with Josh Garcia; Wilderness Vet; Journey with Dylan Dreyer; Naturally, Danny Seo; Give and The Champions Within to begin on September 30, 2017.

The programs of The More You Know extend the iconic NBC brand with three-hours of family-friendly programming. In its premier season, The More You Know resonated with viewers and garnered three Daytime Emmy® Award nominations, and one win for the program Give in the Outstanding Children's Series category; thirteen Telly Awards and six Parents' Choice awards. Its second season will continue to tell inspiring stories about environmental stewardship, social innovators, health, civic engagement and diversity.

The Voyager with Josh Garcia helps audiences access the world's most incredible destinations as Josh takes viewers on an enthralling ocean voyage exploring the people and cultures that make our world so breathtaking. This season, viewers will travel with Josh as he treks along Alaska's majestic Mendenhall glacier, samples traditional Thai food in Bangkok, and ventures to the mountains of Taiwan to learn how traditional tea is farmed and prepared.

Wilderness Vet, hosted by renowned veterinarian Dr. Michelle Oakley, features compelling stories from one of the most rugged areas on the planet, the Yukon. Dr. Oakley travels to homes, farms and wildlife preserves across the Yukon to help animals in need. Wilderness Vet will bring viewers closer than ever to wild animals in their native habitats by showcasing the hard work and dedication involved in their rescue and rehabilitation.

Journey with Dylan Dreyer, led by NBC News meteorologist and TODAY Show correspondent Dylan Dreyer, brings viewers up-close and personal to the wonders of the world through breathtaking cinematography. This season, Dylan will bring the audience beautiful stories from the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro to the depths of the Great Lakes, and from the extraordinary stories of wildlife in Yellowstone National Park to THE JOURNEY of an incredible school of salmon that were forced to the open ocean.

Naturally, Danny Seo is an educational series for young people and their families seeking a healthier, more eco-friendly lifestyle by learning the Science behind eating well and exercising mind and body while caring for our planet. Recently nominated for a Daytime Emmy® for Outstanding Host in a Lifestyle Series, Danny Seo will continue to share new and innovative ways to enjoy time with family and friends, share delicious and healthy meals while creating a beautiful and environmentally friendly home.

Daytime Emmy®Award-winning Give returns to bring viewers into the world of philanthropy through the stories of small charities making a big impact. Executive produced by passionate celebrity philanthropist and actor Blair Underwood, Give partners with the country's top foundations to assist charities that are dedicated to creating change in their communities. Give enlists the help of celebrity ambassadors like NBC News correspondent and producer Jenna Bush Hager who are on a mission to inspire others to do good. Special guests this season include Army veteran and actor J.R. Martinez, U.S. Men's Soccer Hall of Famer Cobi Jones and host and best-selling author Sunny Anderson.

The Champion Within features the powerful and inspiring stories that exemplify what it really means to be a champion. Hosted by Lauren Thompson, host of Golf Channel's Morning Drive, The Champion Within introduces audiences to athletes who have overcome obstacles to ultimately achieve transcendent moments in the world of sports. The Champion Within proves that a champion is not only defined by their speed, strength and agility, but by their grit, resilience and heart.
