Matthew Morrison Joins Chris Rock, et al. for 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' Film

Matthew Morrison, the Broadway regular who made his way to television stardom on the FOX hit GLEE, has joined the cast of the film 'What to Expect When You're Expecting.'

Morrison joins Chris Rock, currently appearing on Broadway in THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT, Cameron Diaz and AMERICAN IDOL judge Jennifer Lopez, as well as Anna Kendrick and Brooklyn Decker. As the title suggests, the plot is centered around a group of expectant parents.

'What to Expect When You're Expecting' is set to begin filming shortly after THE MOTHERF**KER WITH THE HAT finishes its limited engagement on July 17th.

Matthew Morrison last returned to Broadway in the Lincoln Center Theater production of South Pacific. For his performance he received a Tony nomination. It was at Lincoln Center where he also created the role of Fabrizio in the musical The Light in the Piazza, for which he was also nominated for a Tony Award. His other Broadway credits include A Naked Girl on the Appian Way, Hairspray, The Rocky Horror Show and Footloose. He appeared off-Broadway last summer in the musical 10 Million Miles at the Atlantic Theatre Company. His TV and film credits include Dan In Real Life, Marci X, Primary Colors, Numb3rs, Ghost Whisperer, CSI:Miami, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Once Upon A Mattress.

GLEE stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz. Glee is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century FoxTelevision. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
