The TV Land Icon Awards in Celebration with Entertainment Weekly today announced that innovative choreographer, director, actress and three-time Emmy(R) winner Debbie Allen ("FAME," "A Different World," "Scandal") will receive the Trailblazer Icon Award, with actress Ellen Pompeo, whom Allen co-stars with and directs on the hit drama "Grey's Anatomy," presenting her with the award. Also added to the evening is a heartfelt tribute to a comedic legend and inspiration, Emmy(R) Award-winning Garry Shandling ("The Larry Sanders Show," "It's Garry Shandling's Show"), presented by his longtime friend, "Better Call Saul" star Bob Odenkirk.

FX's hit series, the much-talked about drama "The People v. O.J. Simpson: AMERICAN CRIME Story," will be honored with the Instant Icon Award, with Oscar(R) winner Cuba Gooding Jr. accepting on behalf of the series' stars, creators and producers. Lastly, Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, of the award-winning hit Comedy Central series "Key & Peele," will be presented with the Comedy Duo Icon Award, celebrating their hilarious and instantly legendary sketches.

The star-studded event honoring the very best of TV and entertainment, tapes Sunday, April 10th at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, and airs Sunday, April 17th at 9pm ET/PT on TV Land. Comedian George Lopez, who stars on TV Land's latest original comedy "Lopez," will host the TV Land Icon Awards.

Also being honored at this year's ceremony is three-time Emmy(R) Award winner Norman Lear, who will receive the Impact Icon Award, which praises individuals that have made a significant impression on American entertainment and culture, and John Stamos, who will receive the Timeless Icon Award, which is presented to an entertainer whose extraordinary work spans generations. Oscar(R), Emmy(R), Tony(R) and GRAMMY(R) winner Rita Moreno and "Good Times" star Jimmie Walker will attend and appear in Lear's tribute, and "Hollywood Game Night" host Jane Lynch will be on hand to toast and pay homage to Lear. "Glee" star and recording artist Amber Riley and "The Voice" winner Javier Colon will also perform a special medley of theme songs from Lear's shows. The Impact Icon Award will be presented to Lear by television and film creator Seth MacFarlane. Stamos' "Full House" co-stars and friends Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, his "Grandfathered" co-stars Paget Brewster and Josh Peck, and renowned television creator and film producer Garry Marshall will present him with his award. As part of his tribute, GRAMMY-winning band The Beach Boys will perform a medley of their hit songs.

The TV Land Icon Awards is produced by TV Land Productions, and Eddie Delbridge, Shelly Sumpter Gillyard and Jay Schmalholz are executive producers.
