Riding on the success of Entre Nos: Part 1, comedians Vladimir Caamaño, Frankie Quiñones and Shayla Rivera will take the stage in the 30-minute stand-up comedy show Entre Nos: Part 2 when it premieres on Friday, October 13th at 9:30pm EST exclusively on HBO LATINO®. In the hilarious English-Language special, the three comedians are joined by host and comedian Ben Gonzalez at Los Angeles' El Portal Theatre for a laugh-out-loud night of stand-up. Directed by Joke Yanes and Adolfo Nowake, Entre Nos: Part 2 will air across all of the channel's platforms including HBO NOW®, HBO GO®, HBO On Demand® and affiliate portals.

HBO Latino is thrilled to showcase these talented stars, bring laughter, and celebrate this audience as the premiere coincides with National Hispanic Heritage month. The comedians tell their stories of growing up Latino in the U.S. touching on everything from moving cross-country to growing older in a technology-driven world. They also give their unique perspective on other topics including how to spend money once you finally get some, having a childhood cholo phase, making love while aging, and more.

Entre Nos: Part 1 (HBO LATINO®'s Spanish-language comedy special) recently premiered on the network this past June and will return to the channel with more specials in 2018.

Meet the Laugh-Makers:

ASA Rocket Scientist turned Comedian.

Shayla Rivera is a Puerto Rican/American stand-up comedian who uses observational and self-deprecating humor to point out that the truth is the funniest thing out there. Rivera's material is intended for mature audiences as she reports her observations of the common experiences in our everyday life. Her point of view comes from being herself, a woman, a Latino, a mother, a rocket scientist, a mystic, etc., "You know, a typical human being", she says. She will often base her humor on observations of our cultural differences and refers often to her childhood experiences in Puerto Rico and the culture shock of moving into the American Culture at the tender age of 17. Rivera enjoys a fan base that crosses age groups, genders, and cultures; she is respected in the comedy community as a great comedian to watch and work with.

Not your average cholo.

Frankie Quinonesbrings a performance compared to a one-man variety show. He has performed for our troops overseas in Japan, Europe, and the Middle East and has toured with some of the industry's most respected headliners including Craig Robinson, Paul Rodriguez, and Eddie Griffin to name a few. He can be seen on Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Funny Or Die, and SeeSo.

Frankie's repertoire of characters ranges from a hippie woman named Sun Diamond, to Juanita Carmelita, a spicy Latina diva on a budget, to Creeper, a Cholo who has changed his life in a positive direction. Catch these characters and more on Frankie's new web series The Funny Drop on the Más Mejor Youtube channel produced by Broadway Video and NBC Universal. Frankie will also be featured as a starring character in an upcoming TBS series from The Dress Up Gang.

NY Standup Staple

With the name "Vladimir," few people expect a Dominican from The Bronx to take the stage. His comedic style is the fruit of an immigrant Dominican family living in the cultural mecca that is New York City and is described as an elegant combination of urban grit and intellect. He began polishing his wit in the concrete jungles of The Bronx and WASHINGTON HEIGHTS and after graduating from Wesleyan University launched into Standup Comedy.

Vlad has quickly become a staple of the New York Comedy scene performing at The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, Dangerfield's and the Comic Strip Live. He has been featured on GOTHAM COMEDY LIVE on AXS.TV and ADAM DEVINE'S HOUSE PARTY for Comedy Central.

After his standout performance at Just for Laughs (JFL) in 2015, Vlad entered into a put pilot development deal to co-write, and STAR in a pilot based off of his comedy for NBC with Bill Lawrence and WB supervising.

In 2016, Vlad was named one of the Top 10 Comics to Watch by Variety and was honored at JFL. Before heading to Montreal, Vlad made a quick stop in Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia to perform at LATINOS UNIDOS; LEADING AMERICA an event which celebrated Hispanic organizations at the DNC. He is currently developing television shows with top comedy producers and networks. You can catch Vlad's stand-up comedy on LOL, Kevin Hart's new digital platform which will unroll this fall.
