Many are already anticipating plans for the second season of Fox's widely popular show, GLEE. Taye Diggs may be in talks for an appearance, Jonathan Groff is likely returning, and the band, Coldplay has finally surrendered their catalog to the series.

Taye Diggs might join wife Idina Menzel on next season's GLEE. He is eyeing a potential guest spot, according to E! Online. When asked about appearing on the hit show, Diggs admitted that he would "love to do it". "I love the show; I'm a straight up fan. It's so enjoyable to watch and to see a show for people who to sing and dance. Plus, I love how they integrated Idina into the show, and I would love to be a guest", Diggs continued.

What does the future hold for Jonathan Groff? The Broadway star turned GLEE actor is expected to return at some point in the show's second season. Even though Groff's character, Jesse St. James, was a Senior in the past season, producers "definitely want him back". It is unknown on how Groff will return to GLEE, but E!'s Kristin Dos Santos is already making speculations: "My bet? He'll show up as the new coach of Vocal Adrenaline, or an assistant coach now that Shelby has a newborn at home".

The British rock-band, Coldplay has offered its catalog to GLEE. Creator Ryan Murphy recently told the Hollywood Reporter, “At the beginning, a lot of people didn’t know what we were and asked to see pages (in advance), but I refused because I didn’t want to set precedent of them having any involvement. My favorite rejection was Bryan Adams. Coldplay and Bryan Adams were really the only rejections. But Coldplay called a week ago and said, ‘We’re sorry, you can have our catalog.'"

Taye Diggs has starred in the Broadway productions Carousel, Chicago, Wicked, and, most notably, the original cast of Rent, in which he reprised the role of Benny in the film version. He can also currently be seen on television's Private Practice. Andrew Palermo has appeared on Broadway in How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, Annie Get Your Gun, and Wicked.

Jonathan Groff appeared in Broadway's Spring Awakening, for which he received a Tony Award nomination, as well as the short-lived musical, In My Life. Off-Broadway, he appeared in "Prayer for My Enemy," for which he earned an Obie Award. His films include Ang Lee's "Taking Woodstock," "Twelve Thirty" and Robert Redford's upcoming movie, "The Conspirator."

GLEE follows an optimistic teacher, WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison), who - against all odds and malicious cheerleading coach SUE SYLVESTER (Jane Lynch) - inspires McKinley High's Glee Club to conquer the world one singing competition at a time. The group of aspiring stars includes RACHEL (Lea Michele), a pint-size diva with powerhouse pipes; FINN (Cory Monteith), the gullible quarterback with rock-and-roll blood; KURT (Chris Colfer), the fashionable soprano with a heart of gold; diva extraordinaire MERCEDES (Amber Riley); geeky guitarist ARTIE (Kevin McHale); TINA (Jenna Ushkowitz), the punk rocker with a sweet side; pregnant cheerleader QUINN (Dianna Agron); and the arrogant PUCK (Mark Salling). Will is determined to make the glee club great again with the help of his colleague and love interest EMMA PILLSBURY (Jayma Mays).

In its premiere season, GLEE has featured guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers. In addition to Groff, the show included Kristen Chenoweth, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Molly Shannon, Neil Patrick Harris, Mike O'Malley and Olivia Newton-John.

GLEE is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan are co-creators of the series. Murphy, Falchuk and Dante di Loreto serve as executive producers, while Ian Brennan serves as co-executive producer.
