Fusion airs a slate of programming exploring the state of marijuana in America today, April 20 beginning @ 6AM.

Programming will include the premiere of the documentary "Evergreen: The Road to Legalization," "Grass: The History of Marijuana," and a marathon of FUSION's original series "The Cannabusiness Report," hosted by Chief Cannabis Correspondent Ryan Nerz.

Evergreen: The Road to Legalization | After a 40 year nationwide 'War on Drugs,' Washington has become a key battleground in the fight to legalize marijuana. "Evergreen: The Road to Legalization" explains how the state of Washington passed its pot reform law and why most medical marijuana patients, dispensaries and care providers strongly oppose. By tracking behind-the-scenes efforts of both the pro and anti-initiative campaigns, "Evergreen" captures this historic movement, providing a balanced view of the issues surrounding the initiative and goes inside both proponent camps to see how citizens are working to change the cannabis prohibition policy. "Evergreen: The Road to Legalization" will make its television premiere @ 8PM watch preview here.

"Evergreen" is produced by veteran Seattle filmmakers Riley Morton and Nils Cowan with post-production by Jason Reid, Darren Lund and Adam Brown--the Webby and Emmy Award-winning team behind the hit documentaries "Sonicsgate: Requiem for a Team" (2012), "K2: Siren of the Himalayas" (2012), and "Man Zou: Beijing to Shanghai."
Grass: The History of Marijuana | "Grass," narrated by Woody Harrelson, takes a look into one of America's most deeply rooted cultural myths: the evils of "pot." From the story of America's first drug czar, to the absurd SCARE TACTICS behind propaganda films Grass exposes the social, political and economic facts behind this enduring weed and the extent to which it has profoundly shaped our culture. "Grass: The History of Marijuana" will air @ 10AM, 2PM, and6PM.
The Cannabusiness Report | The green-rush to legalize weed in America is happening right now and "The Cannabusiness Report" takes you to the front lines of our country's marijuana transformation. Ride shotgun with FUSION's Chief Cannabis Correspondent Ryan Nerz as he travels to the cities where weed culture is both burgeoning and struggling. You'll rub elbows with Ganjaprenuers as they vie for millions at the ArcView investor forum; spend time in the back seat of police cars along the Colorado borders where people are getting arrested for smuggling cannabis across state lines; and witness the latest developments in canna-technology. From one of the most advanced greenhouses on earth to the first human trials of a revolutionary extract offering a predictable high every single time, "The Cannabusiness Report" gives you an insider look at the marijuana history in the making, the business of cannabis. Episodes from Season 1 and 2 of "The Cannabusiness Report" will begin airing @ 6AM on Wednesday, April 20.
Nerz is a Yale-educated journalist who has written for NPR, Esquire, and the History Channel. He is also the author of MARIJUANAMERICA: One Man's Quest to Understand America's Dysfunctional Love Affair with Weed.
