Enrique Iglesias Among 2014 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS Finalists; Full List Announced

Billboard and Telemundo announced today the finalists for the 2014 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm® during a press conference at the Gibson Showroom in Miami, Florida.
Topping the list of finalists competing multiple times throughout 42 categories are Romeo Santos (17 entries up for 14 awards), Prince Royce (16 entries up for 15 awards), Marc Anthony (15 awards), Jenni Rivera (11 entries for 8 awards), Daddy Yankee (7 awards), Enrique Iglesias (7 awards), Alejandro Fernandez (6 awards) and La Arrolladora Banda el Limon de Rene Camacho (6 awards). The longest-running and most prestigious Latin music awards show will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo Thursday, April 24 at 7pm/6c from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. His song "Propuesta Indecente" contends for Hot Latin Song of the Year; Digital Song of the Year; Streaming Song of the Year and Tropical Song of the Year. Puerto Rican actor, TV and music producer, singer-songwriter, and the biggest-selling salsa artist of all time, Marc Anthony is up for 15 awards including: Artist of the Year; Tour of the Year; Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male; Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male; Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Solo; Tropical Songs Artist of the Year, Solo, and Tropical Albums Artist of the Year, Solo. His album "3.0" competes for Top Latin Album of the Year and Tropical Album of the Year. Marc Anthony's hit song "Vivir Mi Vida" is up for Hot Latin Song of the Year; Airplay Song of the Year; Digital Song of the Year; Streaming Song of the Year; Latin Pop Song of the Year, and Tropical Song of the Year. Late Mexican music singer Jenni Rivera is the leading female artist again this year, competing with 11 entries, up for 8 awards with four of her albums as finalists in various categories. Rivera contends for Artist of the Year; Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Female; Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Female; Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Solo, and Regional Mexican Albums Artist of the Year, Solo. Her album "La Misma Gran Señora" vies for Top Latin Album of the Year and Regional Mexican Album of the Year. "Joyas Prestadas: Pop" vies for Top Latin Album of the Year and Latin Pop Album of the Year; while "Joyas Prestadas: Banda" is up for Regional Mexican Album of the Year. Released posthumously, the album "1969-Siempre: En Vivo Desde Monterrey: Parte 1" also competes for Regional Mexican Album of the Year. Up for seven awards, Puerto Rican Urban music superstar, Daddy Yankee, vies for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male; Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Solo; Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo, and Latin Rhythm Albums Artist of the Year, Solo. Daddy Yankee's summer hit song "Limbo" is up for Digital Song of the Year; Latin Pop Song of the Year and Latin Rhythm Song of the Year. Also up for seven awards, world renowned singer Enrique Iglesias is finalist for Social Artist of the Year; his song "Loco" featuring a collaboration with Romeo Santos competes for six additional awards including Hot Latin Song of the Year; Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event; Airplay Song of the Year; Streaming Song of the Year; Latin Pop Song of the Year, and Tropical Song of the Year. Mexican music leading man Alejandro Fernandez and La Arrolladora Banda El Limon De Rene Camacho are up for six awards; while Corrido sensation Gerardo Ortiz and Norteño group Voz De Mando vie for five awards each. Finalists up for four awards include: Alexis & Fido, Don Omar and Wisin & Yandel. Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera and Yandel are finalists for three awards each.
