Evolve Media's CraveOnline Media (http://www.craveonline.com), the largest online male lifestyle publisher, announced today their annual Comic-Con activation, Crave Escape, aboard San Diego's USS Midway. On Friday, July 10, two thousand select guests will board the historic aircraft carrier to enjoy an evening of food, drinks, and entertainment. Once again catering to its massive audience of music, gaming, and entertainment enthusiasts, CraveOnline will host performances by Cold War Kids, Bad Suns, and Cathedrals, as well as the Best of Gaming Cosplay Fashion Show.

Following last year's immensely popular event on the USS Midway, general admission ticket holders will be allowed to line up one hour before the gates open at 7pm. Once admitted, guests will be ushered to the upper deck, where they can sip on cocktails amongst the aircraft carrier's restored fighter jets. As the sun sets, the entertainment will begin on the CraveOnline Stage with performances by Cathedrals and Bad Suns, followed by the highly-anticipated Best of Gaming Cosplay Fashion Show. After a winner is crowned, guests are offered the final performance of the evening, courtesy of Cold War Kids.

Prior to the event, CraveOnline brand ambassadors will be scouting the streets of the Gas Lamp District, searching for the best of the best to compete in the Cosplay Fashion Show. The participants they select will then be directed to the Activation Zone at Petco Park to qualify for a finalist spot on the runway at Crave Escape.

CraveOnline readers who are attending Comic-Con could also be rewarded handsomely, should they pay close attention to the company's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter feeds-all of which will be providing clues and updates on where to find hidden passes to Crave Escape.

"Last year, we took a major risk by creating a music festival experience onboard a 900 foot aircraft carrier. Not only was the CraveOnline event named one of the top parties at Comic-Con, but thousands of fans lined Navy Pier in hopes of gaining entry-this inspired us to make Crave Escape all about our community," said John Keefer, General Manager of CraveOnline and Vice President of Evolve Media. "With the online space for male millennials becoming more crowded, we have our expanding community to thank for making us the most dominant online publisher for men. As such, we've significantly increased the number of general admission tickets, and created fun ways for fans to find and earn their way into the largest, most-sought after party at Comic-Con. For our readers at home, we'll continue to provide CraveOnline's best-in-class event coverage through exclusive interviews, photos and videos."
