CBS EVENING NEWS Posts Best Viewer Performance Since 2006

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted the Network's best viewer performance in the time period in more than seven years since the week ending Sept. 8, 2006. The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY added nearly +1 million viewers (+910,000) compared to the same week last year, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 10.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted year-to-year gains among adults 25-54 (+6%, 1.8/06 from 1.7/06) - the demographic most important to those who advertise in News - as well as viewers (+13%, 8.05m from 7.14m) and households (+8%, 5.2/09 from 4.8/09) for the week ending Jan. 10.

The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY also posted its best weekly delivery in adults 25-54 since the week ending February 8, 2013.

Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY is up +6% in viewers (7.03m from 6.65m) and +2% in households (4.6/09 from 4.5/08) compared to last year.
