AMERICAN IDOL's Stefano Langone Receives Record Deal

According to The Hollywood Reporter, American Idol's contestant Stefano Langone has signed a record deal with Hollywood Records. Judge Jennifer Lopez chose Langone as her 'wildcard' pick on Season 10 of the long-running Fox singing competition. Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus are among the other recording artists currently signed to the record label.  

Along with Langone, other Season 10 contestants who have received record deals include Casey Abrams, Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery, runner-up Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Pia Toscano, and James Durbin. 

Hollywood Record's executive Ken Bunt commented, “We are very excited to have Stefano on our roster. He’s an incredibly talented vocalist and songwriter. His story is very inspiring and we are looking forward to helping him achieve his goals.”

Responding to the good news, Langone stated, “I feel blessed to have gotten this opportunity with Hollywood Records. I think it is a great fit for me and I’m so excited and hungry for what’s to come."
