ABC's LAST MAN STANDING Recasts Nick Jonas Role

TVGuide reports that Jordan Masterson will take on the role of Ryan, the father of Kristin's 5-year-old son, Boyd. The role was portrayed last season by singer and Broadway's 'How to Succeed' star Nick Jonas. According to the report, Ryan will have a bigger presence in the show's sophomore season. 

Masterson's TV credits include guest appearances on How I Met Your Mother, Without A Trace and CSI: Miami. His film credits include The 40-Year-Old Virgin. The actor is the half-brother of That 70's Show's Danny Masterson and Malcolm in the Middle's Christopher Masterson.

In addition to the recasting of Ryan, the roles of Kristin, Mike Baxter’s eldest daughter and Kristin’s son Boyd will also be recast. Amanda Fuller will take on the part of the eldest daughter, replacing Alexandra Krosney. Fuller is best known for her role as Dr. Morgan Peterson on Grey’s Anatomy. Her other TV credits include Scandal and Bones.

Last Man Standing returns to ABC on November 2.
