SERIES PREMIERES

The Shed - Premiering Monday, August 5th at 10pm

Food Network introduces the (unofficial) First Family of Mississippi and barbecue royalty in the new series The Shed. The six episode series chronicles the exploits of the Orrison clan, founders of The Shed, one of the most popular barbecue joints in Mississippi. The self-proclaimed "ShedHeds" have amassed hundreds of awards and something of a cult following. Follow the Orrisons and their ever-growing business empire on their outlandish and unexpected adventures - nothing is too wild for the ShedHeds and their colorful cast of characters. Customers come out of the woodwork for The Shed's famous barbecue and co-owners and siblings Brad and Brooke, along with their mother, Mama Shed, and father, Daddy-O, who all have their hands full throughout the series. From catering barbecue feasts and bayou weddings to Brad and Brooke's playful sibling rivalry and barbecue competitions with the whole gang, it's never a dull moment at The Shed. Experience a full summer rush, ShedHed style!

  • Premiering Monday, August 5th at 10pm- "Marketing Geniuses"

When Mama Shed's misfired marketing idea leads to an unplanned ribs giveaway, Brad decides he can do a better job. Brooke disagrees, and challenges Brad and Daddy-O to the first-ever guys vs. girls Shed marketing contest. The girls struggle to create a Shed calendar (which puts Hazel in a very sticky situation), while the guys invent the one and only "Pig-a-Pult" to launch sandwiches into the sky. Not to be outdone, The Shed Pimps come up with their own marketing scheme, which, conveniently for them, revolves around setting up a kissing booth they promote on social media.

  • Premiering Monday, August 12th at 10pm- "Welcome to the Shed"

The wild summer rush is in full swing at Mississippi's hottest barbecue restaurant, so it's up to Brad, Brooke, and Mama Shed to hire new help, and fast. The job interviews are as unique as The Shed itself, including on-stage auditions, a trip to the legendary Shed "junkyard", and a visit with the one-and-only Shed Pimps. Meanwhile, a hungry alligator has crept out of the bayou and into The Shed Garden farm, so it's up to Daddy-O, Big Hoss, and Coal Miner to lure the critter away from their tomatoes.

Cutthroat Kitchen- Premiering Sunday, August 11th at 10pm

Cooking skills aren't enough to win in Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen - in this new competition series, chefs must also be crafty, clever and willing to sabotage their opponents. Led by Alton Brown as the kitchen's cunning provocateur, this game features four competitors, three rounds of cooking and auctions where chefs bid on items to help themselves or hinder their opponents. In each episode, four chefs are greeted by Alton with a briefcase filled with $100,000 in cold hard cash and each contestant receives $25,000 to spend wisely over the course of the game on auction items to help themselves or sabotage their competitors. After each cooking challenge is given, chefs have sixty seconds to gather ingredients in the pantry and then regroup for an auction to bid on culinary curveballs, such as the exclusive use of salt or not allowing their opponents to taste their dishes. A chef will be eliminated after each of the three rounds, and the last competitor to survive wins the money they have left in their bank.

After the show, viewers can visit FoodNetwork.com/CK to watch Alton and each episode's judge revisit the chefs' biggest missteps and most surprising triumphs.

Bubba-Q - Premiering Monday, August 19th at 10:30pm

Bubba is a Texas-born, Texas-raised good ol' boy who lives and breathes Texas barbecue, but for now, you won't find this grill master in the Lone Star State! Bubba and his family have taken Philadelphia by storm, wowing them with their over-the-top custom grill designs. There is no job too big and no idea too outrageous for Bubba and his crew, as the most unexpected items are masterfully transformed into jaw-dropping, fully-functioning grills.

Season four starts in Los Angeles under the Hollywood sign where host Tyler Florence greets the eight teams fighting for their chance to win the grand prize of $50,000 and their own food truck. For the first challenge, the teams must go high class, selling one signature dish in Beverly Hills, but that dish must be sold for at least $20 a pop. The second challenge sends the teams 380 miles north to San Francisco, where they can only sell a new and different signature dish. The team to sell the least amount with their two signature dishes is sent home.

  • Premiering Sunday, August 25th at 9pm- "A Strange Brew in Portland"

On day two, they're given a local ingredient called geoduck, which must be the main ingredient in all menu items. After selling $200 with their geoduck menus, the teams race to a scenic vista for a chance to win a reward that might be enough to save

them from this week's elimination.
