On Monday, Nov. 1, at 9:30pm, Peter Lerman will present his New York Debut concert at the Laurie Beechman Theater with an evening of music from his original songbook.

With Performances by Brandon Victor Dixon (Unchain My Heart: The Ray Charles Musical, The Scottsboro Boys at the Vineyard Theater, and 2006 TONY Nominee for The Color Purple), Steven Booth (Glory Days, Avenue Q), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked, Mamma Mia) and Christy Altomare (Wendla in the Spring Awakening 1st National Tour).

Directed by Laura Pietropinto (Asst. Director on Next to Normal).

Peter Lerman is a musical playwright who recently performed solo concerts of his work at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage and Signature Theatre. He recently presented his musical "The Virginia" at the Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop. In addition to music and lyrics for theater, Peter writes for film and television. Most recently, he contributed music to the first season of "Modern Family" on ABC. Peter is a graduate of Columbia University where he wrote the Columbia Varsity Show. He is the winner of a 2010 Jonathan Larson Award, the Kennedy Center ACTF Musical Theater Award, and a 2010-11 Dramatists Guild fellowship.
