Today, Moonlighting and Creators Capital launch "Stories from the American Dream: The Music Edition", in Dallas, Texas. The 10-episode Youtube web series features aspiring artists, their parents, and expert freelance entrepreneurs working together to pursue success in the music industry. You can see first episode here.

SEASON 1 of STORIES FROM THE AMERICAN DREAM: The Music Edition (Dallas, Texas) launches with songs written by platinum recording artist and Grammy Award-winning songwriter, The-Dream, for USC student, actor and R&B singer, Liya. To launch Liya's singing and acting career, a web series written by True Hinds and directed by King Hollis, and inspired by the songs written by The-Dream, produced by Los Da Mystro and performed by Liya, has been developed for broadcast.

JoJo Brim (former VP of A&R at Def Jam, Executive A&R at Warner Music Group and GM of LaFace Records) is attached as an A&R Rep. Social media influencer, Juhahn Jones (1.6M followers on Instagram) is attached to produce and co-star in Liya's series. And, John Huffman, Liya's manager, is the music maven who uses the Moonlighting app, and the power of the gig economy in the music business, to make it all happen.

"The music and web series will serve as the coming out for Liya," said talent manager and entertainment tech entrepreneur and investor John Huffman at Creators Capital. "Once we secure the budget, Moonlighting's mobile app is what I use to find and manage the expert music business freelancers we need to succeed."
