Charlotte's Premiere National Dance Day celebration brought hundreds of people to Uptown on Saturday, July 26th. The free event, hosted by Blumenthal Performing Arts and sponsored by Carolinas HealthCare System, invited anyone and everyone to come out and move.

National Dance Day was created by Nigel Lythgoe, Executive Producer of So You Think You Can Dance, to promote health and self-esteem. Blumenthal joined hundreds of other organizations across the country in hosting an array of participatory dance activities on this day, not only to help put Charlotte on the map but to bring our community together.
