Since 2008, Anaphora is dedicated to giving intimate performances of new - and sometimes not-so-new - music. An ever-morphing ensemble of young Chicago-based musicians, the collaboratively-run Anaphora is best known for its innovative ear for programming and "gutsy but polished performances" (John von Rhein,Chicago Tribune).
