The Greatest War Novel About the Greatest War - Third Edition of 'To Bathe in Eden's Glory' by Christopher Cass is Released by BWW News Desk
- November 01, 2015 Copyhouse Press is proud to announce the publication of the eagerly awaited Third Edition of "To Bathe in Eden's Glory" by Christopher Cass.
This new edition comes during a period of national reflection on the centenary of the Great War and contains some of the most realistic portrayals of trench warfare ever committed to the pages of a work of fiction.
The story follows the fortunes of childhood sweethearts Richard Bowden and Laura Scott not just through the course of the war but also as they chart other battlefields as equally cruel, perplexing and deadly.
Social prejudice, women's suffrage, moral complexity, Zeppelin raids, conscription and the hardships and emotions of home combine with the horror, futility and camaraderie of the trenches into a superb saga of the First World War.
Christopher Cass is the pen name of musician and producer Chris Baker. Educated at Chelmsford Grammar School, at 18 Chris chose the road over university and spent the next 30 years combining a playing career with production and the business side of music. Once described by Melody Maker as a 'studio guru', he lectured on music business studies at MBS (London) during the late '80s and has written for a number of magazines and periodicals. 'To Bathe In Eden's Glory' is Chris's first novel and reflects a lifetime's obsession with the First World War.
The novel has been assessed by a member of the Royal Historical Society and has been passed as historically accurate in both the depictions of the trench warfare and in its portrayal of the rich social and cultural fabric of the times. It will appeal to lovers of history, romance and the tragedy of the Great War.
It is available to pre-order now and goes on release on November 1st 2015, bearing a completely redesigned cover - simple yet elegant - which evokes the camaraderie, pathos, horror and tragedy of war, as well as the romance which runs through the tale.
Music Industry Professional Releases Debut Tell-All by BWW News Desk
- November 01, 2015 A collection of short stories spanning more than a decade woven together to create the misguided anti-love story of a young man learning about the opposite sex through music, movies, and television.
Music and sports industry professional Sean 'SW' Hammond of Salt Lake City, debuts his collection of real life short stories 'Mojo And The American Female' as part of Surf Star Media's ePublishing line.
Hammond, spending more than a decade working for Sony Music Entertainment, Warped Tour, and Major League Baseball, has been documenting and reflecting upon his career and life contributing numerous articles to music, athletic, pop culture, and lifestyle publications. In addition, he is currently working on a set of fictional novels, the first, 'The Final Book: Gods' set to be released by Surf Star Media early in 2016.
Raised on rock n' roll, with a particularly strong affinity for women who rock, Hammond blends an unparalleled view of pop culture and philosophy that follows him from his early twenties through his early thirties. 'Mojo And The American Female' is rich with photography capturing Hammond's days as a tour manager on Warped Tour and working for Sony Music Entertainment, as well as bringing to life the music, movies, and television that has plagued his rational sense of love and relationships. From childhood viewings of Full House leading to his lifelong hatred of John Stamos, his introduction to the Riot Grrrl movement and Kathleen Hanna, and to a questionable infatuation with The OC's Summer Roberts - each story blends a reflective Kevin Arnold-like inner monolog with Wild Turkey.
'Mojo And The American Female' is the byproduct of one too many romantic comedies. Inspiration, enlightenment, and delusion fuel Hammond's quest as he searches for a bit of meaning to life and someone to share it with.

Hasslein Books Release MESSING WITH TELEMARKETERS by BWW News Desk
- October 30, 2015 Let's face it: telemarketers can be annoying. Even telemarketers hate getting telemarketer calls. Whether they're legitimate businesses, pollsters, or unscrupulous scammers, when people repeatedly call at all hours, day and night, it can be maddening. Getting mad does no good, though. Hasslein Books' latest publication, 'Messing With Telemarketers,' shows why it's better to get even.
After a friend pranked Haven Riney by signing him up for tons of college-recruiting forms, he began receiving up to a hundred phone calls daily. He put his number on the Do Not Call List... he told pesky callers to put him on their lists... he yelled, screamed, begged, and pleaded... but nothing worked. Finally, he decided to waste the callers' time instead, screwing with them to see how far he could get. The answer, he discovered, was often 'quite far.'
Riney's lightning-quick wit, sharp comedic timing, and endless patience culminated in the hilarious collection of transcripts presented here. Every call is real, each funnier than the last. The 364-page 'Messing With Telemarketers' is now available for sale at Amazon and its affiliates, as well as at CreateSpace, and will soon be available at BarnesandNoble.com. Bookstores and other retailers can purchase this title at a wholesale rate from Ingram Book Co., NACSCorp and CreateSpace. Visit http://www.hassleinbooks.com/pages/book_telemarketer.php for ordering information, and download an excerpt at http://www.hassleinbooks.com/excerpts/MwT%20Sample_sr.pdf.
