A brisk 70-minute 4 person show by Broadway's Douglas Lyons, exploring familial, racial, and generational themes as well as what happens when children begin parenting their parents. Lyons previously had his play Pure Glitter featured in the 24-25 reading series and 25-26 main stage series starring Bebe Blasdell and Daniel Lendzian. Directed by Delicia Robinson, who recently completed the 2nd Gen Apprenticeship Program as a Directing Apprentice for Pure Glitter.

August 31, 2026 Second Generation Theatre's ninth annual Free Reading Series will feature works by Douglas Lyons, Steph Del Rosso, George Brant and Harris Skinner at Shea's, with registration open to the public at no charge.About the Theatre
