Spring Awakening Touring Cast to Present 'Spring It On' Concert in Rochester, 2/11

The current touring cast of Spring Awakening will present a cabaret evening entitled "Spring It On" in Rochester on February 11th. The concert will be presented at Multi-use Community Cultural Center (MuCCC) in Rochester, NY. "Spring It On: A Broadway Cabaret" will be presented February 11th following the performance of Spring Awakening at the Auditorium Theatre.

Anthony Lee Medina (Otto) and Sarah Hunt (Martha) host a ‘sing what you want' night with fellow cast members following their spellbinding and electrifying show, SPRING AWAKENING at the Auditorium Theatre. Charged by their wild performances in this smash Broadway hit, standards will be reinvented.

SPRING IT ON: A Broadway Cabaret is a special event fundraiser for METHOD MACHINE and MuCCC. Celebrate MuCCC's first year with METHOD MACHINE, blow out the candles and sing in the next year with the stars.Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award®-winner in years is currently embarked on its first national tour. Spring Awakening, the 8-time Tony Award® winning Broadway musical, will play the Auditorium Theatre in Rochester beginning February 9th and run through February 14th. Spring Awakening is presented by H-E-B Broadway Across America-Austin.

Jake Epstein stars as Melchoir, and is best known for his work as "Craig" on the hit television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation." Ben Frankhauser, who stars as Ernst, was a former super-fan - now living his dream and performing in Spring Awakening.

Other roles are played by Christy Altomare (Wendla), Taylor Trensch (Moritz), Steffi D (Ilse), Andy Mientus (Hanschen), Sarah Hunt (Martha), Gabrielle Garza (Anna), Anthony Lee Medina (Otto), and Matt Shingledecker (Georg).
