Script Club Selects 10-Minute Plays For PLACES IN 10
The event runs September 27th and 28th at A.R.T. NY's 138 Oxford Street location.
Places in 10 is Script Club's latest production consisting of six new one act works, which will be staged September 27th and 28th at A.R.T. NY's 138 Oxford Street location in Brooklyn. Tickets are free.
Places in 10 is a night of 10-minute plays developed through Script Club's weekly table read series. Writers in the Script Club community have developed these one-act plays over three months and after a community vote, selections have been announced.

Title: I Hate the Dedham Mall

Premise: Erin is going to have a pleasant conversation with a stranger, by any means necessary.
Title: The Box

Premise: Brandon plans to throw away the belongings of an ex-boyfriend.
Title: Heart in a Blender

Premise: A blender meets a banana and their emotions are mixed.
Title: De-Escalation

Premise: After dealing with a violent patient, a new employee and his jaded colleague discuss how to move forward.
Title: Salad Days
By: Kylee Greenleaf
Premise: Four childhood friends return to their hometown to open time capsules following the death of their childhood friend.
Title: A Test of Taste
By: Kendra Jones
Premise: A group of New Yorkers (hired off a Craigslist ad) are taste testing products together in the Manhattan office space of an AI company working to predict tasting palettes. Each day is different and unexpected.
