Ride the Cyclone is a Canadian musical with book by Jacob Richmond and music and lyrics by Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell. Darkly funny and deeply moving, the show follows six teenagers (played by adults) from the St. Cassian Chamber Choir who perish in a roller coaster accident. In limbo, they meet a mechanical fortune teller—The Amazing Karnak—who invites each to share their story for a chance to return to life. The narrative explores death, grief, and the meaning of a life well lived, asking audiences whether we are truly living ours.
The music is intoxicating and encompasses multiple genres
